Our condolences go out to Dave M. for the loss of his canine buddy of 16 years and 13 days, Gunner.

Gunner strayed into Dave’s life when she was around 6 weeks old. Thought to be part lab, part golden retriever, she settled into Dave’s lap that first day and remained in his life until her time was up. Lucky for both Dave and Gunner to have each found such a good friend.

Gunner was well known out at the range and at Dave’s Guns. She was a good natured, friendly dog that never turned down a treat. Though her eyesight wasn’t so good anymore, she could hear the ding of a microwave every time. She brought a smile to many a face because of that appetite of hers.

Dave’s had her body cremated so he can always keep a part of her close by. A small urn of her ashes will also be kept at Dave’s Guns.

We’ll miss Gunner’s presence, but our memory of her will always be a part of our shooting experience
